Isn't that little squiggly cute? ~ ~ ~ ~ and if you do it without spaces ~~~~~~~ looks like a ribbon!
Should do my taxes. Ick. Who wants to do that when the deadline is still a few weeks away? Think I'll go in to Katie's room and put quilty stuff away. I should go in the basement and get that stuff more organized before I work on the room up here. Now she says she will be home for a month or two - will have to move my quilty stuff out of her room again. Sigh. I want a room. Just one room where I don't have to keep moving stuff all the time. Walls up and my own room. Even though I have an 'area' in the basement, that's just exactly what it feels like - an 'area'. I want a room. With walls that I can paint my favorite color. I can hang things up and not have to move them. I wouldn't have a dresser or bed or other stuff in there - just my quilty stuff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~DREAMING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, off to organize the basement some and in the room down the hall.

UPDATED 2012 QUILT PROJECT LIST
Slowly getting there. I think I need to do less lists and more sewing though. Maybe I should be less organized this year and see how I do. That might drive me to insanity as it seems I always have had lists.
This blog will get better.
I don't expect to get all the projects listed finished this year, but I can try. There are also lots more projects I didn't put on the list - guess it will keep me busy until I am 100 or so. It's nice to have something to look forward to.
Did I mention I started a quilty group get together at my church once a month? Friends and family get together and work on their own projects. We sure have fun times.
My applique project is a block of the month which I need to get cracking on. I have the packages for 10 of the blocks and have only finished 1! That's just not acceptable. So, I joined a once a month applique class held at a Hershey Quilt Shop where I will have the chance to not only learn new applique techniques, but also have time to work on my own blocks. I'm sure I will come away with new projects I want to work on when the classes are over in December.
Another long day - but blessedly so. I have many blessings to carry to bed with me tonight. I will be thanking the good Lord for them as I lay down to sleep.
Ta-da,
Trish

REJUVENATED!
That's one of those words that doesn't look quite right, doesn't it?
Had a wonderful 4 days with my sister, a best friend, another friend, and a neighbor. It's our annual get-a-way - to hit Lancaster to have fun, shop to add to our stash, eat out, hit the hottub (of which there wasn't one), and look at all the beautiful quilts entered into the quilt show. I also went to a show and tell with a lot of my friends from years past. They are awesome quilters!
Time to get my lists ready and update my list on here of what I am working on.
Also have taxes, spring cleaning, and a host of other odd jobs to work on. Spring is definately here early and everyone is loving it. I don't think they are too sad that winter went POOF! this year, unless of course you might be a skiier. I'm sure they will get some snow next year.
In the meantime, while listening to the birds settling down for the night and waiting for Mike and Molly to come on - think I'll find a special place for all my Lancaster purchases. Next time, I will update some new areas on here.
