PICTURES OF BUNNY BLOCK

I knew I would figure it out.  (Well, ok, with the help of my husband who is so patient with me while I write down every step.)

Here is my first applique block for my BOM.  It was supposed to be about 40 some pieces on a background fabric of about 5" x 6".  Do you see a problem with this idea?  I did too.  There are about 14 pieces the way I did it.  And, it's all needleturned.  Yah me!

I bought some fusible interfacing which I will be playing with tonight and see if it will help me do my needleturn easier and maybe I can make some pieces smaller.  Stay tuned . . .

AH-HAH!!  Did it!    This is Shadow, who sadly, is no longer with us.  Whenever I would get up from my sewing machine, he would wander over to it and plop his head down on it waiting for my return.  I think he was telling me I was spending too much time on the machine and not with him.  Ever hear of a cat that loved to be vacuumed?  He did.  Too funny to watch.

How about my sisters?

Purple and Green Rail Fence where I used fabrics from a Bali pack.  This was quilted on my small, regular home sewing machine with an all over meandering pattern. 

Now, for my other sisters. 

This is a 4 Patch Posey Quilt.  I used buttery yellows and sage greens and this was also quilted on my small, regular home sewing machine with an all over meandering pattern. 

Playing around with the font, the lettering size, and the alignment.  Kind of like some of the type in the middle - what do you think?

TRY, TRY AGAIN

A year and a half ago, I started my blog.  Lots of changes between now and then and decided I want to try to post more.  Which means, I need to quilt more! 
Trying out the Facebook thing, but not too impressed.  It's okay but think I will put my computer time into my blogger page. 
Already, gotta scoot.  I promise I will be back tomorrow.
